going 3rd yr this semester
 

 Life is like a candle, burning at both ends.
It doesn't matter how hard I try, I never seem to win.
The frustration gets overwhelming,
When you don't know where to turn.
The person who is supposed to care, is suddenly...unconcerned.
The pain runs deep in my heart, And you can see it in my eyes...
I lye in bed and cry at night, over all these time worn lies.
By morning, the pain subsides, to a bearable point.
So I, cut out a line, snort it up, and roll a big fat joint.
The drugs set in, and soon I am numb, and a smile creeps across my face.
Before you know it there I go, out into society, to take my place.
If the pain should recur, i'll take a moment, do it again..
And then i'll feel like new.
Running from my problems, I know, isn't right...
Maybe,
I'll face them tomorrow...
